Building Architecture for Sustainable Environments (BASE) is an architecture and design firm led by director, Jessica Bradley.

Jessica lives in Thirroul with her Chef partner, son and dog. Together they enjoy the close proximity of bushland and beach; the escarpment is particularly special.

Her underlying ethos at BASE is to promote socially and environmentally responsible architecture through processes of contemporary design and collaboration. A practice that is engaged with community, fosters local skills and materials sourcing, creating architecture that builds communities for tomorrow.

Each project is unique, for its combination of client, brief and context; these differences are exciting, and reflected in the design and architecture. It is an opportunity to unite old and new; to design in a way that respects history and character.
